I just got myself and 4 kids in with Dr Garcia. I was on the wait list for 4.5 months..I was expecting way longer!

Dr. Garcia is starting his practice this month and there will also be two new doctors joining the Arnprior and District Family Health Team in 2018. Put your name on the list and guaranteed you will get a new doctor in 2018. Also if you develop some sort of medical condition that requires frequent medical attention etc, notify health care connect and the family health team and they will bump you up as priority on the wait list.

Hi Kristina, The waiting list at the Arnprior Hospital is long. I found one at Active Care Medical at 1108 Klondike Rd. A new Doctor there was accepting patients. Dr. Diego Garcia is a recent family medicine graduate and will start his family practice in Arnprior in December 2017. Go to the Arnprior Family Health Team website https://arnpriorfht.ca/ and select the "Need a doctor" tab in red on the far right. Put in the contact info and they will contact you. All registrants will be contacted in sequential order starting with those who are currently on the waitlist. The intake of new patients can take time and there is a significant need in our community, therefore we would ask for your patience as we work through the waitlist.
