Thailand. Seriously. Ive been there twice. Its actually quite affordable to go for months at a time. The most expensive piece is the plane ticket. I've guided several friends that have visited northern thailand now. If you have any questions, pm me and I'll give you my number. Happy to answer any questions.

if you can, go to thailand. i haven't been there in over twenty years so my experiences might not be relevant, but studying there was by far the best way to learn. spend a couple of months if you can. as mentioned earlier, the ticket there is the most expensive thing. then study a lot. study at itm or old medicine or in bangkok at wat po. get many massages from different people. ask to be taught some specific movements or stretches. look for other thai healers and learn about thai herbal and other stuff. look into the sunshine school in chaing mai for sure.
locally you should be able to find an 8 or 16 hour intro course or you could go to costa rica (i see workshops advertised monthly) but if you can, you should go to thailand.

I took some courses in Toronto, are you looking at more workshops or a month long training course? How many hours? I really loved the intro courses I took too. Very meaningful/relaxing.

Going to Thailand is definitely one of the better options. I was there for a few months in 2015 and I learned a lot.

Mayan abdominal? I know Ruth Chao Guzman does amazing abdominal and pelvic work. She can reset u'r whole reproductive system in one session! I went to her and realized my uterus was tilted backwards- in our session she realigned it. So grateful for her unique work!
