Acupuncture recommendations? Hi guys,
I've never done acupuncture before, but I was recently diagnosed with an illness that causes chronic pain and told to try it....

Hi, I've had friends who have tried Betsy and recommend her. But I have not used her personally. http://www.meridianhealingworks.com

Whi told you to try it? I'd never take medical advice from them. Go see a physical therapist

If she's still in practice, Heike Albers, in Vienna, VA. She'd be in her 70's by now but is the real deal. I tried acupuncture solely out of curiosity and had booked a separate appointment at my primary doctor later in the afternoon, because of a swollen lymph node that I was worried about. I had some really strange experiences with the visits to Ms. Albers (I booked more appointments with her after the initial one), and if anyone tells you that you can't feel chi course through your limbs, they are either a liar or haven't experienced it. It was a one-time experience for me (with the chi), but I will never forget it. Physically, I assume it didn't do anything for me, but to experience that hot flow coursing down from my shoulders to my fingertips was worth the money.
Acupuncture: who knows of a good place? Please share any stories that go with it. Thank you.
