The only place I've heard of is in Hot Springs and you have to go pick it up. Kati Puglisi gets wood there. But that would be very far for her.

Brandy - I'm glad you found a good supplier. I've taken down his info for the next renters at our place. In regards to Craigslist, we had luck finding someone last year but this year was a bust. The problems I've found with Craigslist are as follows 1). it's difficult to get people to call you back 2). the wood may be advertised as 'dry' but truly dry and seasoned wood should be cut and split for 9 months which I've found most wood advertised as dry is not. 3) What type of wood is it? You need hard woods that have a high heat value (burn hottest) and will last. Questions to ask - When was it cut? When was it split? Where has it been stored? What type of wood is it (this site lists wood in descending order of heat value)? http://www.almanac.com/best-bet-firewood
There was a post a few weeks ago about a place right down the road from Deerfields that sells local firewood. Anyone have more information?

Although it was dampish. Wintersun also got a bunch of straight line cuts from a mill somewhere else close by.So check with him for more info... That's all I got:|
