*Ok... Y'all make way more money than me. LOL! That being said, it really depends on what you want. If you are looking for American Diner, I like The Wild Goose. The eggs Benedict they serve on weekends are the best in town and are served on a real crumpets with 2 perfectly poached eggs and layers of thin sliced ham coated generously in traditional Benedict sauce. This place also has a full bar and Mimosas for $2.50 on Sundays. http://www.wildgoosecafe.com/ Is pizza more your thing? Try Creekside Pizza. Their lunch deals are reasonable and filling, and the Creekside salad is organic field green deliciousness covered in Feta, sun-dried tomatoes, and pine nuts with a zingy balsamic dressing on top. Their pizzas are creative and tasty! As a sworn carnivore, one of my favorites, The Slammy, is actually vegetarian. There is a flavor to savor for everyone at "the Creek." http://www.creeksidepizza.com/ Are you feeling something more south of the border? Go north! Just outside of the city limits is El Tapatio. A family-owned sit-down Mexican restaurant. Growing up in California, there were Mexican restaurants like this everywhere. Places like this are harder to find here in Oregon. It feels a little like coming home when you come here. The food is tasty, and I have NEVER had a bad meal here. Also, because it is outside the city limits, there is no Ashland Food Tax. http://www.eltapatioashland.com/ The best burger ever? Big Al's Drive-In is hard to beat! Solid burgers! Creative menu choices. FRY SAUCE!! This place calls to me in my dreams. They also serve Mexican food I have heard is excellent, but every time I go, all I can think about is their burgers and crispy fries. Try the Heymaker if yo are looking for an out-of-the-box experience. http://www.bigalsashland.com/menu/ Looking for something more exotic? Ashland has MANY ethnic restaurants to choose from and many more foodie experiences to offer. From traditional to fusion, you have a ton of choices. Like I said, it depends on what you want. *The opinions expressed in this post are based on the author's personal experiences and are simply opinions. Hi OFOSA,
Does anyone have connections in Ashland for a restaurant. We need one to go with our Shakespeare tickets.

Smithfields Restaurant and Bar is awesome. Salame is a great new place as well. Tot Restaurant has delicious modern vietnamese. Those are my top 3 near downtown. Kobe is also good.
Is there a restaurant in southern Oregon that actually serves a full 7 course meal?

Cucchina Biazzi in Ashland has a full multi course dinner that is fixed price and very impressive. It is small, seats less than 20 or so, very very tasty. It may not be 7 courses but you will not go home hungry
