I don't know any breeders in Texas but if we can ever do anything for you, please don't hesitate to call or e-mail us here is our website bestfrienddogtraining.com

Tami Jansen, we breed GSD's and Dobermans. We do not have any GSD puppies expected this yr but do have Dobermans. We decided last yr that we would donate one puppy from each litter of either bred to someone in need of a service dog. We have yet to have anyone looking but if you would be interested please message me for more details.
Mary K. replied:
Thanks Tami Jansen, we have a Dobe litter due in a few days....if you are not wanting that breed maybe you know someone that does and can get the word out. The cost is zero to the person in need, just would need to pay for shipping if they are not loca l. We are in north ID fyi. We do have a form to fill out and the people that are applying will need to show that they are in need and have the means for training. Our Doberman's run at $1800 to $2200 and our GSD's at $900 to $1500. Fully health tested and offer guarantee on the donations as well. Hope we can help you or someone in need. .

What about Pets for Vets program? They have a program in Houston. That may be a good option. Not sure on the wait for them but I would check out their web site for info. http://www.pets-for-vets.com

Go to carecredit.com and apply....it's super easy and you can print out a temporary paper to use in the office till your card comes in the mail.....make sure the card covers the vet office you are going too because not all of them take the card
Anyone know of a good vet around ; that is reasonable ?

Lmao, I have 6 dogs myself. Definitely research your breeds, I recently got an Australian shepherd and the rest of my pits and boxers are willing to be couch potatoes but this puppy is not and I need to take him to the barn with me every morning where he can run it off or he tries to destroy my sanity. Generally A good rule to remember is that a tired dog is a good dog
Curtiss B. replied:
If it gets desperate, check with Donna Yan, she's the Ashtabula dog warden. I worked with her extensively when she was Humane Society. In fact 2 of our dogs were because of her.
Anyone know of a veterinarian that does home visits? We are going to have to put our dog down and would like to do with him at home. Any recommendations?
