Honestly, 1800Flowers.com. They use local florists, but you can do all the legwork online... and generally get good deals. Locally though, I'd go with the place on Broad by STMH. We use them for all our work functions and they've been stellar.

You always get a better deal if you call any local florist. Don't call an 800 number because they have to make money on top of what the local florist that they send your order to makes. That means more of your money goes to fees and less to flowers. That said, unless you want to cheapskate with proflowers (she'll have to arrange them herself when they get there in a box), you're going to pay $70 for a dozen roses and $10 for delivery. If that sounds like too much then you'll have to go to walmart and do it yourself. Source: I'm a flower designer and delivery driver.
