Really, Publix does some awesome cakes, even wedding cakes. My twin sister and I each had our wedding cakes done by them, and they were cheap and awesome. Hers was, IIRC, just a plain white, and ours was red velvet.

We got married in snelville too, used publix. Fit the budget,good enough cake that no one will remember it. They matched the icing color to exactly what we wanted. (You always remember the best and the worst wedding cakes.)

My mother in law makes amazing cakes out of her home. Doesn't charge much just really does it for fun. She is going to bake the cake for my upcoming wedding!

www.amalfidecor.com has really pretty dessert stands or cake stand. If you do like a dessert table... could be useful! Super affordable too!

[Rhodes bakery] (https://billrhodesbakery.com/) in Snellville is a good option; they are just south of the intersection of US78/ GA 124 - they are almost directly across from the brewsters ice cream shop in a small house that's easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. They make very good cakes.

We used The Frosted Pumpkin and were really happy. I ended up having 5 small cakes because I just love cake and all of their options were just fantastic. Easy to communicate with and I felt like we got a good price. I think they are based out of Decatur, but they will deliver the cakes pretty much anywhere I believe.

Catherine Colemanor Samantha Davis Clark make good cakes and wedding cakes

They make Nick Hogsed graduation cake into a pool for The University of Arizona for 100 people they did their research, the A was perfect, the lane ropes were the same color, and the swimmer had U of A swim cap on and in the correct colors. Didn't have to ask them to do that either - they went the extra mile and the cake was good.
