Yeah, those weird films suck. We've had birthday cakes done at [Federhofer's](http://www.federhofersbakery.com/) and [McArthur's](http://www.mcarthurs.com/) and they'll do designs in real frosting. They've done a Cardinals cake, one with a toy backhoe on a construction scene, etc. I like Federhofer's frosting better but McArthur's has moister cake. There are probably better/more artsy people somewhere but at least these bakeries have reasonable prices.

Damn, there used to be an amazing cake decorator at Straubs in the CWE but she's recently quit. There might be someone else over there who can do something for you, though.

We used Ice Cream Social the past couple of years...they are off of Bethelview. There icing is SO good?Can't go wrong with Publix...if you have a picture I'm sure either one can help.
