I shoot in Savannah all the time! Just has a New Year's Day wedding there and a summer Savannah wedding picked up for print by the Knot Georgia. I'd love to have my name passed along and if they like my work let's chat! www.ellegolden.comwww.facebook.com/ellegoldenphotographyhttps://instagram.com/ellegoldeninfo@ellegolden.com678-744-8664 May I ask the name of the photographer who backed out? I've been seeing a lot of these lately and think if it's a professional with a contract and no good reason they should be called out as a warning to others.

**NEED QUICK ANSWER** cheap hotels in Atlanta close to the Georgia Aquarium that accept 18 check in age? I can't find anywhere but red roof and other skechy hotels that...
colinmom71 replied:
Also, the Aloft hotel allows 18 and up - http://www.aloftatlantadowntown.com/announcements This one looks like a good option for you. Two blocks east of the Aquarium, meets your age requirement needs, and a reasonable $119 per night...

http://www.sheratonatlantahotel.com - At Cortland and Ellis Streets, so it's significantly further away from the Aquarium than Aloft or Inn at Peachtrees, but the web site FAQ's do not mention a minimum age and the room rate appears to be $95 per night.
colinmom71 replied:
Hilton Atlanta (Cortland Street) has 18 for it's minimum age and their web site show best rate for a standard room at $99. http://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/georgia/hilton-atlanta-ATLAHHH/index.html

http://www.innatthepeachtrees.com - Can't find a minimum age, but it's going for $89 per night at Hotels.com. Appears to be a part of the Best Western chain.

Can anyone recommend a hotel in Paris that's quiet and not crazy expensive? Sincerely, High Maintenance in Atlanta!
Kristin G. replied:
Kids or no kids? Either way, homeaway.com has lovely apartments in all the great Paris neighborhoods. It makes you feel like a local.
Stephanie J. replied:
Relais Christine. Beautiful, boutique hotel with a perfect location in St Germaine...a short walk to the Pont Neuf and Notre Dame. It's quiet too which is rare in Paris. You guys are going to have an amazing time http://www.relais-christine.com/
Suzanne K. replied:
The St Paul in the Marais District fits the bill. It isn't fancy,, but is in a great location. Shopping and cares are right there!
Kerri S. replied:
This is where we stayed with our two kids for Spring Break. We loved it. Very reasonable, small boutique hotel. One block from the Etoile metro stop (right by Arc de Triomphe). Not necessarily off the beaten path, but very easy to get anywhere quickly. Friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms (we had one with a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa for the kids). Very nice breakfast was included with our room. Highly recommend. It is literally right across the street from Guy Savoy, a very famous Paris restaurant. http://www.paris-hotel-magda.com/en/

Whenever I have to go out of town for a long-ish period of time (a week or so) I board my dogs at Wag (close to the airport). Their facility is super clean and they're good about sending photos of my dogs having a good time while I'm away. Unsure about cats but I would expect the same level of care.
fetchanother replied:
I’ve worked with Pet Minders for years...they are very good, especially for cats
CaffeineorSleep replied:
I have a home sitter thru Critter Sitters. My cats would not tolerate boarding- one was very high strung- and they love Steve. They have insurance, you have paperwork in case an animal needs to go to vet, emergency contact, etc. I’ve used them for ~10 years and have been very pleased.
one_swift_move replied:
Paws And Relax are great pet sitters
Lonely-Statistician replied:
I think care.com has a sister site that deals with pets.

I used to work at a dog daycare/boarding place a while ago. DM me if you want the name of the place cause I would NEVER bring my dog there. I just don’t wanna post it publicly.

I've used https://petminders.com for a number of years with my cats.

Check the Rover app/service for someone local in your community. In my experience, Cats do better at home with visit checkups.

Depends on where you live, but if you’re in the Decatur area, I would recommend Petmeisters. Link: https://www.petmeisters.com/

Like downtown Atlanta or Buckhead or where?
mikesaidyes replied:
Try Hotel Indigo or Hyatt Midtown. Both good locations and around that price. AirBnB too. Downtown is nothing more than offices and convention space. Few residents outside of Georgia State students. Also, from Midtown, it is a very central location for Uber to East Atlanta, Inman Park, VaHi etc. I lived in Atlanta for four years 2007-2011 and relied on MARTA. It wasn’t that bad since I stayed in town, but as a visitor stick to Uber/Lyft. It’s all I use now when go back for a visit. Cheap and faster.
wazzel2u replied:
We've stayed at the *[Westin, Peachtree Plaza](http://www.westinpeachtreeplazaatlanta.com/)* and really enjoyed the spectacular view, the proximity to downtown stuff, access to MARTA stations, and quick access to the freeways for Rental Car trips. (Buckhead, Marietta, Museums... )

I've lived in the Atlanta area for 20+ years. Where will you be spending most of your time? Will you have a car? A lot of this choice depends on whether you will be spending more time closer to Interstate 85 or 75. It made be wiser to stay closer to Sandy Springs or Marietta rather than in downtown or even Midtown depending upon what you are in Atlanta for. The prices will also very extremely widely as well. I'm happy to help if you have specifics!
