To echo Gillian Brady Heritage was really awesome for us. Natalie and Laura were absolutly incredible. I highly recomended them. Vesna and Brandon at Silverton are really good folks too. they might not be the best fit if you arent just normal people with normal jobs. As I said, cant say enough good things about Heritage Bank. http://heritagebankmortgage.com/Default.aspx

Sue Hamilton with Fidelity is amazing. She is one of the hardest working and honest mortgage bankers that I know. She has helped several of my clients and recently helped my husband and I. Working with a local lender is always best in my opinion, and she lives in Decatur. https://www.lionbankmtg.com/broker/sue-hamilton
I'm looking for a mortgage broker, any recommendations?
Mari M. replied:
Since you're in the metro ATL area, you can become a member of the Delta Community Credit union. They are wonderful to work with and offer competitive rates. I've been a member >30 years and just paid off,our mortgage with them. https://www.deltacommunitycu.com/Personal/home.aspx
Recommend a mortgage broker Looks like it might be time to buy something, so can someone recommend a mortgage broker?

Robert Hendley with Supreme Lending was amazing for us a couple years. We were in a rush to get closed on a house we loved before heading out of the country for a couple weeks. 12 days from offer to closing and he was super on top of things and responsive to our ton of questions. https://www.supremesouth.com/loan-officers/robert-hendley/

DecaturUnited replied:
Jon Holt at Movement Mortgage. Read about Movement’s charitable work - it’s pretty impressive for a financial institution. Edit: And he’s super competitive with terms. As in some of the lowest rates I’ve seen with minimal closing costs (you would, of course, have to qualify).

Thanks everyone!! Never bought before because I moved around a lot, but I am finally settled with where I want to live and work.
Ask your realtor. They will know who has good rates and are easy to work with.
FryTheDog replied:
Delta Community Credit Union has great rates, but they are slow moving, I used them for my refi. The Moore Team was amazing and the service was great when we purchased our home 2 years ago, but when we started looking to refi their rates were much higher than DCCU
