Esthetician recommendations? I have some minor aesthetic issues with my skin (not acne) and would like to get either some treatments or advice on proper skincare...

I asked my friend Christine - who owns and practices esthetics at [Spa Aeon](https://www.spaaeon.com) in Emory Village - for a reply. She has this to say:
"You're right that the field of esthetics is broad and there are many approaches! I was fortunate to have access to clinical training early in my career with some of the giants in the field of age management and acne, and I bring that training to our estheticians at the spa. The field continues to develop, so in addition to evaluating emerging technologies and modalities for their therapeutic benefit, our main task in the skincare division here is to provide our guests with the education they need to make optimize the 'skin hacks' that are become better and better researched and understood! Our recommendations are typically three-prong, spanning in-office treatments, at-home topical routine, and nutritional and lifestyle factors. My colleague Crystal has a special knack for redness and irritation prone skin, including rosacea, and we overlap in our treatment styles significantly with age management/rejuvenating and acne approaches."
Hope that helps.

I went to Deb for my last happy-birthday-to-me facial in June at [Aviary](https://www.aviarybeauty.com/) (Studioplex in O4W) and I was really impressed with her service and recommendations on my skincare regimen. (She said to save money on moisturizers and sunscreen, but splurge for a good serum and/or treatments, like retinol. But if you have specific needs and questions I'm confident she could answer them.) /r/SkincareAddiction is also super helpful.
