I can endorse Shingle Springs Vetrinary. Doc Bader has never taken advantage and has repeatedly shown me how to perform various tasks that would otherwise make him money. They are also a 24 hour emergency clinic. I've been with them for 25 years.

Propane, if you own your own tank, you can use whoever has the lowest price, if you rent your stuck using whoever provided the tank, however you can switch out the tank & go with another company. I'm in Cool & use Kamps. Have used several over the years, but find Kamps has good prices & great customer service. Would have to say Dr. Irene is the best vet around, but you would need to drive to Georgetown. Cool vet is ok, I use them for General animal treatment like shots etc.

Dustin at Jrsautomotive.net off of Greenwood Rd near shingle springs. Honest and good work, no bias on our part. our truck broke down a few years ago right in front of his shop when he first opened and we've been going there ever since then.

Both McDaniel's in greenwood and The Garage, in cool do great work. Both are very reliable and fair on price. Don't forget to find out why you need a head gasket. They don't normally blow unless something else led up to it. Both of these shops will give you fair estimates and reason for the problem.

Josh. A head gasket on that engine is fairly rare. What symptoms do you have that makes you think it's a head gasket? Have you had a pressure test completed on your coolant system?
