Dr. Seman does not allow parents to go back with the kids. I love Dr. Randolph in Folsom who allows the parents to go back. He was great with my daughter and even let me sit in the chair with her to relax her. She was terrified of the dentist and he was able to get the work done she needed.

I've been going to him since we moved here - so going on 5 years. I don't have the best teeth in the world so I've needed extensive work done also - not just the basic cleaning and xrays. I fractured two teeth and he sent me to a specialist for that to see if they could be saved. The endodontist that he sent me to is a gem as well. He's NOT in it for the money! Dr. O'Day in Auburn. After the two teeth were pulled and went thru all that, I went back to Dr. Forsberg for the teeth implants (I guess they would be called crowns as well??). He was wonderful. They go out of their way to get you in if you have problems or if something just doesn't feel right. I've never been told, "oh, we can't see you til next week" like a lot of other places would.

He's a great dentist and will refer out if too complex. Also accepts Care Credit for easy financing if you don't have insurance. Good luck!!

I see Dentist through Eldorado Community Health Center/Dental,in Cameron Pk,you have to be a patient at Eldorado Community Health Center, but there great.They put you on a list for 5 weeks befor your first appt.

Holly is his "right hand man," "wife at work" (most incredible person I could have requested to be both, and she was there before I was!) he is known for being so very honest... there is so much more that I can say, but I will reserve that sharing, until a more private moment. Here's the state's Dentical online provider list. Chapa de Indian Health services also does a sliding scale, but there's a form to complete and needs to be mailed into the IRS (yes the IRS as it's based on your income). Can take 6 to 8 weeks, so do it early before you need care. A personal recommendation from someone who's worked in dentistry for almost 30 years - anyone on Dentical should make an appointment and get their routine or preventative care done now (BEFORE a toothache happens). Yes, I know you never know when a toothache will happen, but MOST toothaches are preventable. Dr. Goodis is a great dentist, he was a dentist in the millitary....he will do what other dentist won't......some will push for a "crown", if he can fill it he doesn't push for the expense fix like a crown. Most of my family has used him..I think he does take Medi-Cal out of one of his offices.

Shingle Springs Tribal Health does, it's right across from Redhawk Casino. Your friend will have to foot the bill for a cap though, but at least they can take care of the infection.

I called Shingle Springs Dental Center and got the same story - no appointments until at least October. My 16 year old daughter shattered a tooth at school after a fall. I told them it was an emergency and they agreed to take her the next day. Sometimes you have to push a little. They wanted to make her wait! A teenager with a broken tooth!:( They did a great job pulling it for her and making her feel comfortable.

No dental school that I know of in Sac. Maybe at UC Davis. Only some UC system schools have dental schools, usually where there is a medical school as well.

I can’t speak for their methods but I would call American Family Dentistry in Roseville. My husband was very happy with them - they are more holistically minded and probably more open to this kind of thing. Dr Saffari or her husband are both great.

I have not been to him, but Ted Roslund in P'ville is a holistic, Weston-Price dentist. 622-4188

My hygenist at Dr. Greenmun's office does it but I can't feel it at all. Of course, I floss so I never have pain or bleeding ayway.

I have seen several dentist over my life time, many specialist and have had lots of work done by several elite dental professionals in the Auburn and Sacramento area. You will not find any Dentist more sincere, trustworthy and professional than Dr. Forsberg. He cares about your dental health more than your pocketbook!

Used him for over 20 years. Dr. Forsberg is great, and his staff is superb. They will treat you like a good neighbor, and at the same time very professional. We're lucky to have him here.

I have been a patient of his for about 15 years. I was not blessed with the best teeth and have had lots of dental work done. Dr. Forsburg has been the best for me. Very professional, friendly, and skilled and he has squeezed me into his schedule multiple times for little emergencies. His staff is also amazing. I can't say enough good things about their practice!
