He has kept my sick cats for a couple weeks at a time before and fixed them up and only charged me about $50 for a 2 week stay. His practice is called Purrfect Place. Or anther option are fake nails. They are called Soft Paws. You can get them at PetCo, Pet Depot, or online. They are basically like fake nails that you use glue to secure onto the kittens nails. They last 4-8 wks and then when they fall off you just cut their nails again and reapply. I won't lie, I didn't cut my cats nails, it says to prior to application, but I never did and they worked just as well. They are wayy cheaper then declawing. And if you start them young, they will get used to the process of putting them on. I used them for a while, they worked great, and after a min the cat forgot they were on an went about his day. And online you can get different colors lol.
