New Lives Animal Rescue. These guys are getting pretty big now and have been involved in some of the more "infamous" horse rescues, one of the few who can properly help horses in need. They also picked up all the slack left by the useless Waikato SPCA when they closed at Xmas last year

Does anyone know where I can take an injured duck to be looked after? I have one, in my yard, which can't fly or walk properly.
Thanks.

Where best to take large lot of e-waste, car batteries, old paint, and best charity for unwanted goods?
Sarah M. replied:
There's a big hospice sorting station at 60 Ellice Rd, Glenfield. I would highly recommend that if you have goods for a charity that you take them there. Super helpful, easy and such a good cause. https://www.hospicenorthshore.org.nz/hospice-shops/how-to-donate/
