Try [Tapehead Electronics ](http://tapeheadelectronics.com/index.html). They’ve fixed two of my old receivers and they’re excellent. Pretty sure they do consoles as well.

I can’t help, but I want to hear the answers. I’ve got a console I would love to have worked on.

I'd call Austin Record Service on Burnet: [https://www.austinstereo.com/](https://www.austinstereo.com/) Super nice guys, they fixed my turntable once and didn't even charge me.

I'm also looking for repair help, but for my old record player.

What is the issue? It's getting harder to find competent vintage audio work around town, and it is usually pricey with long waiting lists.
If you are willing to learn, these old Marantz units are really pretty easy to work on, and most of the components are dirt cheap. There is a TON of info online(Youtube and Audiokarma are your friend) on how to do pretty much anything on the Marantz 22xx series receivers.
I picked up a 2275 a few months ago that had some issues and after having a hard time finding a decent tech, decided to just go through the entire thing myself and replace all of the capacitors, replace all lamps with LEDs, clean all controls and connections. I put about $140 into it, and couldn't be happier with the way it performs now.

(Heyyy OP this isn't all relevant but I just made the below post on a thread by another Houstonian over on /r/vintageaudio .... Found your thread while googling trying to remember the repair shops name. I tried sounded exchange and they wouldn't work on solid state receivers so maybe this will help you out.) My case isn't in the best shape so I'm glad to hear AudioKarma is an option down the road, and I live on W Alabama so I wish I'd checked out 3MA before I drove all the way to West Houston! That said, if you ever need a backup option, I found Ron's Electronics - 1826 S Kirkwood Rd https://goo.gl/maps/yqb6vvg6jD62 (Note there's another Ron's on Bingle but I highly doubt they're the same guy...) He tuned up my 2230 (new main bulb, tuner adjustment, few other things) and did a great job. Told him I'd send him business if I could! His little shop was also jam packed with a bunch of cool old stuff so I should prob drive out there again for pics since I wasn't subscribed to this sub at the time...

You could try Steamboat Ampworks off Gano St. I know the guys there do good work and, at the very least, could help point you in the right direction.
