Gregg Kronenberger represented me in a noncompete dispute and an arbitration. He is reasonably priced, a straight shooter, ethical, and kind of funny. Despite all this, he is a great lawyer too ;) his specialty is employment issues. We won both our cases. I recommend him.

Good luck in Texas, you have the right to quit, that's about it.

As a defense-side employment lawyer in Austin, I'd recommend Phil Durst. He was my employment law professor in law school (UT), and is a great plaintiff's lawyer here in Austin. He mainly deals with these type of issues, as well as discrimination suits. Daniel Verrett is also pretty good.

[Start here.](https://twc.texas.gov/jobseekers/how-submit-employment-discrimination-complaint) The only time I've had to use this, it worked out in my favor but I brought a ton of evidence to each call and was able to provide it via email. Taking action of any kind is likely the "final straw" with you and your current place of work so you'll need to start looking elsewhere quickly if you're not doing that already. Sorry you're in a shitty spot, hope it works out.

I haven’t used this referral service for employment law, but I’ve had a good experience for seeking other help - https://austinlrs.com

I hate to say it, but lawyers in employment situations never pan out, unless you're trying to get a severance package or trying to stop being fired from the org. My wife has sought out one when her employer attempted to fire her 3 weeks before her maternity leave and the lawyer told her she needed to go through HR first. She ultimately got to go on leave, but is expecting to get fired when she returns.

I attended a sexual harassment training organized by Jason Boulette. Seemed to be reasonable, personable and know his stuff. I've never been a client of his, though. [https://www.boulettegolden.com/jason-boulette/](https://www.boulettegolden.com/jason-boulette/)
Need a recommendation for a Houston area employment law lawyer. Please advise if you know of a good one. Thanks.
