Can anyone recommend a good eye doctor in Athens for someone who may need glasses for the first time?? THANKS!!!
Teri M. replied:
I don't of a good doc but I can recommend that if glasses are needed, check out warbyparker.com Very cool online company that has great glasses for WAY less than you can buy elsewhere, plus for every pair of glasses they sell they donate a pair to someone in need!

I switched to the Quinns a few years ago, and it's the best move I've made. Dr. Tom is also a contacts expert. Dr Susan is a sweetie. Dr. Foster there took excellent care of me when i had a torn retina. Dr. Sherri Crawford used to work for the Quinns but now she's at WalMart. I loved her when she was with the Quinns.
Looking for an eye doctor, for Spencer. Anyone use Dr. Berns (Avon Eyecare), Dr. Fitzpatrick, Dr. Bonelli? These are a few on our insurance. thx
Julie A. replied:

Dr. Mitchell is the bomb!:)
Ashley M. replied:
Go with Dr. Shiembob at the Walmart in Newington, he's amazing. I didn't like Dr Berns very much at Avon Eyecare...
Andy M. replied:
Dr. Berns is ok. She is on our plan. Not much of a personality, but she knows what she is doing. She is also local. Her selection of glasses is not that great, but she will order frames that you like from websites etc.
Carol S. replied:
I take the kids to Burke McLoughlin. Dr. Malchoff is really awesome.
Carol S. replied:
When I was looking, Dr. Bonelli also got great reviews from friends, but I ended up going with the one which was closer.
