ISO: A good, not overly priced vet in the Bagley area to take my kittens and dog to. Don't really want to take them to Fosston. Have not had good experiences with them....

I dont know if i can post this. but i am in need of serious help. my 7 year old chihuahua got kicked by some intoxicated guy while I wasnt home, I believe her ribs are...
Dorie B. replied:
Call Paula Davis in Shevlin. She's totally reasonable. If it's broken ribs, there's not a lot they can do for her...but the Dr can prescribe pain pills until she heals.
I'm wondering what's the most reasonably priced good Vet in Bemidji? (Other than Friendly Vet I know they're the cheapest..) but I want better service just can't afford...

Tom at Headwaters Vet is excellent, Paula Davis is great too, a little more affordable but she's west of Shevlin a few miles....all my pups 12 wk shots and pkg of heartworm meds was a little over $100...she's also available evenings and some weekends...
Amanda R. replied:
I would also not recommend Friendly Vet
Jean W. replied:
Exam fee at Bemidji Veterinary hospital is $70. I took my dog in to get a rash checked out, it turned out to be bacterial infection maybe from a scratch. To check the rash $39 & meds $16.55 a total of $126.85

Love Animal Care Clinic we have gone there for years very great service, care and prices!
Anna S. replied:
Bemidji Vet! They charged me a vet fee once and haven't charged me since. And I really like how friendly they are, you can tell they care about your animal.
Dorie B. replied:
Paula Davis is cheapest and you get great service. She works alone so she doesnt have to inflate costs to help cover payroll and doesnt have some of the newer gadgets and gizmos...but for run of the mill wound problems, surgeries, vaccination, deworming and such...she's my vote for "best bang for you buck"
