My Dad has been going to Hugh's Auto for years. It's the gas Station right across from the Wendy's on Woodbourne Rd not far from Cobalt Ridge. Really nice people & fair. http://locations.autovalue.com/PA/LEVITTOWN/72009-29/?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=Maps&utm_campaign=Google+Places

Thanks Nannette Hoffmann Williams, but the dealerships are way too pricey for me even if they are good! My adoptive parents Kim Brown Carney And Bill Carney took care of my break situation a few months ago when the Mazda dealership wanted my first born to do my brakes and change a bad head light unit. Penn Jersey got a lot of votes here and it's the closest place to me ( I could walk there-IF I had to) so I'm gonna call there first !

Donna: Greg Mahon is a great, honest guy and was a good friend of Jimmy's late brother, Will, who WAS the Best & Most Honest Mechanic in Bucks County. (The 600 sobbing people who showed up at his viewing attested to this.) Jimmy JUST this morning called Greg & set up an appointment for an inspection this Saturday at 11AM. His shop, "Gasco" is in Morrisville, just further up from Dani's Studio towards Bus. Route 1, and practically across the street from "Falsington Commons" at the corner. I'll be speaking to Jimmy in a little while, and I'll get Greg's phone number. When/if you call, use Jimmy's name. BTW, I CAN'T FIND YOUR PHONE NUMBER, so re-post it and I'll call ya later. Love ya. Talk ta ya soon. Susan.

Donna Lutz! Check oil and check engine are two different lights. I think Auto Zone will check ur engine light for free.
Nannette W. replied:
Donna - you can take it to Auto Zone or one of the other places and they can tell you why your light is on - yes AAMCO too. They'll put a thingie on your car and tell you what's up. Then you can have it fixed

Being able to walk to your mechanic is key! That's why my dad started to go to Mr. Hughes. He's had a relationship with these guys for over 30 years. They were a great help after my dad's accident. They'll come to the house to pick up the car for inspection, drive my dad to where he needs to go... there's nothing like having a good relationship with an honest local mechanic.
