I mulled the same thing after getting pricing from a couple big contractors that basically required me moving out of the home for 2-3 months so hey could tackle the job. Then I found someone willing to logically help me plan the order of the remodels to save expense and let me stay in the house while the thing was undergoing multiple remodels. I had my 3 bathrooms, laundry room, master bedroom, foyer & other remodeling projects done by Steven Giardino of Finished Works. Excellent at all aspects of the remodel, no subcontractors used.

Rick at Vann Remodeling. They know our Van Patten homes. They have dobe our siding, kitchen, two bathrooms, deck, family room,... All without moving out of the house.

Absolutely, Bill Fagle. He lives on Walden Glen and is an awesome contractor and person. He does top notch work and very trustworthy. 518-527-8451. You won't be sorry we've used him several times.

Stay away from Vision Landscaping. They are owned by Mark Amedore and he also does all the landscaping for Amedore Homes. We contracted with them years ago to build a wall and it failed. He said he would fix it but then refused. Wound up in small claims and the judge agreed it was his responsibility and awarded $$ to us. He still hasn't paid the claim or fixed the wall, despite having a judgment on his record.
