Gemma they are verge covers that have not been fixed properly ! Scott England is correct about gutter brackets they are used when there are no fascias ! Would love to help but really busy at the mo. Give Niki Brydon a call I've worked with Niki,great little roofer !

If you have no luck with NHBC I would definitely recommend Hart Roofing.

NHBC won't cover that! Structural defects only I think. Gutter brackets are standard rise & fall,lonely thing is we would have cut excess thread off & painted the exposed ends with Galvafroid paint to stop rust.
