Hi everyone, thanks for your valuable inputs, I got a lot of tests done today at Vikram hospital . I am consulting Dr Girish Godbole, he is a runner himself. More tests on Tuesday and then they will advise me of further steps. But ECG, TMT and basi c blood reports are normal so he has put me off medication and I can run normally. However given BP is marginally high he has advised a 24 hr ambulatory test to understand the BP pattern and then will decide .

may be it is genetic. Do you have HR monitor? What are your maximum pace and corresponding HR rate? If the BP is high for your age, may be you need to undergo ambulatory test ( 24 hour basis) which records your BP on a continuous basis and should also be used during running to determine whether Max BP is dangerously high.
