You can quite often find a sensible taxi driver that will do 12 hours for this kind of money, I have done it several times. If you need a reliable driver, I have used a service occasionally over the past 15 years - In the Dynasty Hotel, Sukhumvit Soi 4, go past the reception and on the way to the rear doors is a desk, you need to ask for Mr.Sac, almost sensible and a steady driver with a selection of vehicles.

Yes, a S.C. thing:-( The State requires all licensed drivers are insured, I can opt to have a non-insured driver's license with an added fee of $550 a year.
