Kae N. replied:
Typically the psychiatrist who takes care of the patient for so long should know best about the case and can recommend the right psychologist or perhaps she doesn't really specialize in treating Schizophrenia. My firsthand experience is with Dr.Wittaya at Rama 9 hospital but not sure he is good with this kind of case and most importantly, he doesn't do psychotherapy I guess. Rama 9 hospital has only 2 psychologists while Manorom has a lot more so a psychiatrist has more choices in recommending the right psychologist/therapist for her. Did you take a look at various doctors' profiles and ask a nurse or staff at Manorom when making appointment? They should know which doctor has experience or specializes in treating Schizophrenia most.
Kae N. replied:
A friend of mine who has depression/bipolar recommended Dr.Sombat at Manarom. She has been his patient for over a year. http://www.manarom.com/dr_sombat.html But I myself would recommend this doctor (with no personal experience, just from my own research). I planned to see this doc before but haven't got a chance to go see him yet. http://www.manarom.com/dr_krisakorn.html Search for the clips of these two doctors on YT, they both talked about Schizophrenia.
Hi people! Can anyone suggest me western doctors who deal with Depression and anxiety with prescription or counseling? It's quite urgent. I will really appreciate it,...
Martin P. replied:
PSI is a good start or Dr Donna
Peter D. replied:
PSI, Donna Murray or Jasnam Narula (http://www.counsellingbangkok.com/statti_about/about-me/)
Martin P. replied:
Generally most Psychiatrists dont do therapy. They will prescribe and diagnose, the therapy is for Psychologists, Psych Nurses or counsellors. Dr Donna is a good option as her clinic also has some western counsellors. PSI is also very good and Ben Wenstein is a very good person to see for therapy.

Looking for a reasonably priced Doctor in Sukhumvit area to take a look at my eye after something went into it whilst riding my bike last week. Drops from Pharmacy are...
Niclas U. replied:
For your eyes never ever let the pharmacy give you the normal stuff. They can make things worse and if you have a serious infection like I had its time to hurry to a real doctor. The big hospitals are good but the one that most famous is Rutnin http://www.rutnin.com/eng/
Adam B. replied:
Rutnin's great - I can personally recommend Dr Anuchit.
Kornkanok C. replied:
How about Samitivej Sukhumvit? My friend just got her eye checked as something was in her eye. It costs only 800-1000 baht.
