Leaving for Christmas Mountain in the morning with 3 teenagers, ages 13, 15 & 16. Any suggestions on restaurants and activities outside of Mt. Olympus? We're going there...

I live 25 minutes away. If you want to get out of the Dells, Devils Lake has some great hiking for any level of walker. Beautiful scenery and all kids love it. Parfreys Glen is right there and is awesome.

we were just there this weekend - the passes to Mt Olympus are $18 but i'd pay the extra and go to Kalahari. Mt Olympus has 2 tube slide and 2 body slides and a small lazy river. - outside (indoor theme park is kiddy) also part of the outside them park was open....they had 1 big roller coaster open (cyclopes) and 2 bumper cars - the first out there dont do as the carts are slow. the one by the roller coaster is great - its called Trojan horse and carts run much better!

Your biggest dilemma is the time of the year. Knuckleheads, MooseJaw, you can get discount tickets to Mt. Olympus, ( great indoor water park) the movie theaters and the outlet mall are great. I hear there is either a laser tag or paint ball place that is open year round. Paul Bunyan's may or may not be open but they were selling at least their doughnuts in the off season. There is a new foods place downtown called Macs. It is mac and cheese in every way possible. Really good and I just saw it is one of the 25 best new places in Wisconsin. Depending upon your kiddos ages there are some fun activities at Xmas Mountain. It's a fun place, enjoy.

have you checked out the Dells Fun Card? many two for ones on that card for $5, both restaurants and attractions, (and drinks too). also restaurant.com has some restaurants on it in t he Dells area. I live in the Dells 5 months a year, and it is funny but have never eaten at Paul Bunyan, Moosejaw, or Knuckleheads.
