We take our kids to the dells usually once a year and have stayed at Mt Olympus and a few other places, but we stayed at the Wilderness for the 1 st time in Sept and had the best time. Our kids (17, 14, 12, 10 and 1) didn't even want to leave the resort to do things downtown. It was very reasonable for all of us as well. U can find good deals on Craig's List for 2 and 3 bedroom condos there too. We r going back in May since it was so reasonable!

The Chula Vista Resort in the dells is a great getaway for adults. They have spa packages, romantic rooms, great food. I have been there with both my kids and just adults. I recommend it for either.

Lake Geneva is wonderful in March. There is a place called Lazy Cloud, that has beautiful rooms and scenery. Husband and I stayed there and we cant wait to go back. Its more then 2 hours away, but worth the drive. Dells is great, but expect a lot of kids running around unless u stay at an adult only place.
We are looking at heading to Wisconsin Dells for a little break this winter. Any recommendations on resorts that are accomodating or restaurants in the area? I like...
