Cool Springs Family Medicine - cannot recommend them enough! They are self-pay, so working with/around insurance tends to be the only negative aspect of using them. Wish 1000 x over we could still be with their practice! https://www.facebook.com/Cool-Springs-Family-Medicine-161180023913542/?fref=ts

I would think you'd need an endocrinologist, not a general doctor. I see Dr. Rodney Snow. He is in Nashville.

Tracy Osborne, MD. She's medical director at Southern Hills hospital and has her own practice near there. Middle Tennessee Internal Medical Associates. 615-833-7080. www.mtimassociates.com. Love her and her staff.
Erie friends, we need recommendations for a new family physician, preferably near Fairview or West Millcreek.

In this day and age, there should be no fear of DOs. My PCP is Paul Gausman on West 26 th Street, across from Lowe's entrance. He is a St. V's doc. He is knowledgeable, compassionate and takes his time to create a health plan. He was persistent in following up on symptoms that specialists (all M.D.'s) wrote off leading to the identification of cancer. I believe he saved my life.
Anna G. replied:
Don't mistrust DO's, I don't have one now, but I did, had he not moves away I would still be with him, he was great. DO's are not given enough respect. The one I had (Dr. Special) was in the Hamot Family medicine group. Many are now associated with St. Vincent and Hamot.
Mary K. replied:
We have Dr. Murphy….We love him. He is in West Erie Medical Group right on Peninsula Dr.
Joyce M. replied:
I'm sorry I didnt read comments and just noticed no DOs. Both are DOs. It sucks one Dr. Gives all DOs bad name!
Julie M. replied:
Of course I'm biased, but Dr Brown is wonderful!!!! Unfortunately her office is downtown
Kristen B. replied:
Dr. Brian Stark is awesome, I really couldn't say enough good things about him. He is a DO, but not all DO's are bad, just like not all MD's are good. I switched to Dr Stark after being unhappy with my MD bc I heard wonderful things about him. It's not the MD or DO that makes the Dr, it's the person. I know the importance of having a Dr that you like, trust and respect ... Good Luck!
Jon K. replied:

Courtney L. replied:
