Healthy Pets in North Aurora off of Farnsworth is pretty good. My sister and brother always take their dogs there. Affordable and they definitely take care of the dogs. Most of all their customer service is excellent.

Mr. Scott's Dog Spa. He and his wife have a ton of experience with all different kinds of dogs. They are smaller so it can be harder to get in during the busy times of the year. Pricing is fair, and you definitely get your money's worth.

Woofbeach Palms in Geneva on State St. They’re knowledgeable, friendly, and use allergy friendly products. Are also careful to remember if your pet has any skin tags, issues, etc. my favorite part is that they work on tight scheduled appointments so your dog spends little to no time in a kennel. Lots of other places they kennel your pet for sometimes even a few hours. You could most certainly classify me as a “crazy dog Mom” and I won’t take my fur baby anywhere else.

The price...depends what you are used to. We have never had an issue. My dogs gets super excited when I ask If they wanna see Amy. Good luck.

We take our golden doodle to Michelle at Woof Beach in Batavia. I don't want her looking like a poodle or schnauzer-mix, and I am happy how she grooms her. It's probably more extreme than most golden doodle owners want, but I love how she looks. Our golden doodle has pretty straight hair, which probably makes a big difference.

Our breeder recommended Amy's Wild Hairs in Maple Park. Amy and her mom joan are passionate about what they do and extremely conscientious. It's worth the 20 minute drive. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. Check out their Facebook page. They now groom several other dogs in our extended family.

Autumn green vet on keslinger road has shampoo and conditioner and other products that will help with his skin. I would recommend start there to get him relief, regardless of your ultimate groomer decision... Katrina Dodge is the groomer there and is excellent but tends to book pretty far out - do you know the cause of his skin allergy?
