Carolyn, our son does Karate at Inspired Martial Arts in Highland. Master Benson does.have a couple week long summer camps that might still have openings.

Catholic High has a listing. Also LRCE has a camp. Brian will be attending that one. You could see if there is still space. Both Dunham and Episcopal have great camps.

Mid City Animal House is probably the most convenient to Lakeview and I've heard good things. They also do in-home dogsitting. Zeus's Place is great, but only if Uptown is convenient to your commute or whatever. There is a Camp Bow Wow on Tchoupitoulas as well, don't judge by one location. They are a franchise operation.

You can also try Puppy Love Day Care in Metairie on Edenborn. I have a lot of clients who use them and they're really good with the animals.

I've heard good things about Central Bark ($25/day). It's out on Airline/Causeway if that's in the direction of your commute. Or if you commute uptown, I personally like Belladoggie ($20/day). I haven't gone to Canine Connection ($25/day) but I might start because they have nice boarding options. Zeus's Place ($10/day!) but not as feature rich as the other options. Supposedly they are building a Camp Bow Wow in Mid City soon (if you're open to trying out a new location). It was supposed to break ground in November but nothing has happened on it so I don't know what exactly is happening with that. I'd also like to recommend the dog park in city park, it's close to lakeview. $50/year and absolutely worth every dollar.

I recently used Pet Paradise right by the Airport in Kenner. It was the priciest of the options I looked at ($37/day), but they have pools for the dogs to swim in, and my dog didn't seem traumatized when she came back home after a week. I'd use them again.

I highly recommend Canine Connection, they're very clean and safe, great with special needs dogs too. They have several different daycare playrooms, depending on your dog's temperament. But it's all the way down on Tchoups near the Petco, so that may be too far for y'all.

I think we used [Uptown Girls](http://www.uptowngirlspetservices.com/) (my wife handled setting up the pet sitting) when we went to Europe for 3 weeks. We're out in Kenner, and they came out to the house once a day, so they're not *just* Uptown.

NOLA Bark market is opening their doggie daycare next week I think. Its downtown in the Bywater. I don't know much about it, but the lady who runs the store is super awesome and nice, and my guess is that it will be a pretty good place to take your pup.

I've taken my boxer to Dog Day Afternoon in Uptown for boarding, but I believe they do a daycare as well. He doesn't always do well in kennels, but I've had to leave him there for a couple weeks on more than one occasion, and he's always come home happy and healthy.

Used to take my pup to Mid City Animal, but fell out of love with them. Now we board at DogVacay.com
