Check out The Runnels School. You will love their program! Very age appropriate. Staff is fabulous.
Holly E. replied:
We love Runnels Preschool. My only regret is that we didn't start our son at this school at age 3. Such a loving and nurturing environment. Hands down, as an educator myself, it is the best recommendation.
Questions for my baton Rouge mommies: Where is the best daycare/mothers day out program? And who do you recommend for a pediatrcian? I need to get on my game!!!
Elizabeth W. replied:
Dana Fakouri, was with her for 14 years and hated to leave when we moved. 928-0867. They have a Facebook page. Associates in Pediatriac Medicine.
Becky W. replied:
I LOVE Dr. Danny Wood, and my niece Katherine Landry uses Dr. Jamal Martin (he's a little younger than Dr. Wood). Dr. Elizabeth Seiter is very good too...all are at BR Clinic.
Ashley O. replied:
We use Dr Susan Bankston at BR Clinic! We love everything about her and her staff. She is very good with new mommies and has handouts for each month of the first year on how to get them on a schedule and sleeping through the night, how to introduce solids, etc.
Meghan F. replied:
We use Dr. Kelleher at the Pediatric Clinic on Tara and Goodwood. All the doctors in that group are great! A good friend of mine uses Florida Blvd Baptist for daycare and loves it. My sister is very happy with MDO at Woodlawn Baptist.
Misti C. replied:
Dr. Katherine Katzenmeyer at BR Clinic is awesome too!
Jenna D. replied:
We use Dr. Elizabeth Seiter at Baton Rouge Clinic and love her!

Bob Drumm. He is a great pediatrician. He took care of all 4 whitleys. He is very conscientious and does not miss a thing. Literally saved the life of 2 of my children, Robert and Caroline.

Not really a "daycare" but Bethany Christian School on Seigen just extended their hours for daily care. I have nothing but good things to say about the school and would highly recommend checking them out.

Not sure what the wait list is like right now, but Country Day School on North Blvd is fantastic! Can't say enough good things about it:)

I'm going next week to secure our spot in the fall for a newborn at Christian Life on Perkins between College and Essen.
