This link shows a photo of the front grounds. You can see how the mansion is just the cornerstone; no one lives in the mansion. http://www.deaconess-healthcare.com/Scarlet_Oaks_Retirement_Community/

We buy images and dreams. Bev Stoneking Hildreth, This house is magnificent- have only seen it in this photo.. thanks for sharing. My dad's godmother was Cora Adrian. She and her husband, Gus Adrian had a florist shop and greenhouse(s) in Clifton in the early 1900's maybe thru the 1950's.Seeing this brought back stories from my childhood.
Hey all! A current client and close friend of mine was completely blown away by how much flowers and cakes cost. She's a baller on a budget. If you had a good experience...

I'm getting my cake through my venue and they use Gambinos. It's a really good price, but not sure how much it would be not through my venue. For flowers, my friend just got married and she used Cottage Path. She said she quoted them less than half where everyone else did and that's probably who I'll use as well.

We did our own flowers, but used Cake Goodess for cake. (They are located on Highland near Jefferson.) Very reasonable.

For Erin's wedding we used Dubois Cakes (very reasonable and delicious) in Livingston and made our own Baby's Breath bridesmaids bouquets.

I used Fairy Dust Cakes in Denham. Small bakery that's looking for new business, very reasonably priced compared to the other places in town, and Kyleen (the owner) will design a personalized cake for you at no extra cost (wedding and grooms cake). Also, she's been on Food Network Challenge:).

I agree about Milissa Duhe, Designs by Melissa. She did the bouquets for my wedding and they were gorgeous! Very reasonably priced. Also... Fairy Dust Cakes gets my vote, hands down!

Posey Mart on North Market. Jan usually gets there around 10:00 am but you can order through Tele- florist and they can usually have it ready by this afternoon.
