We had good luck with the Walmart Singer Heavy Duty - it's heavy and we used it to sew together cloth/cardstock postcards for the Baylor Foundation's Thanksgiving mailing...after killing my cheap Singer! Oh, I was so swept away my my envy i did not say...Kevins family has used the Tailor Shop right there near your house on Old Hammond for decades. They call me "Calbert Wife" which I adore! LOL They have totally restructured suits for Kevin, etc.
