I do my own Mexican food cooking. So I don't really go out and eat Mexican food but when I do, Las Mesitas is the place!

I worked in a Mexican restaurant for 18 years and the one I prefer is Las Mesitas by Wilco. Family owned and ran. Not too spicy and prices are reasonable. Dr. Conzatti at Gentle Dental is fabulous. I have had a lot of restorative work done and he matches up coloring beautifully all while being kind and patient. The also do Ortho work there.

Prairie Dental is the best! Dr. Jill Rebano is my preferred dentist there but they are all great! All my childhood years and adult years prior to Prairie, I hated going to the dentist. Since I have been at Prairie, I love going. A co-worker was told by her dentist she needed a root canal and major work on her teeth. She went to Prairie for a second opinion and was told she had a small cavity. Honesty, caring and professional staff who you know love their job by their attitude is what you get from Prairie Dental.

Lori Jackson, my husband went to Excel in January for a simple cavity. I don't recommend them at all...very disappointing actually. They were really rough on him, very rushed, and they did not do a very good job on the filling. He will need to have it removed and replaced when we can get him back to Smiles Dental in Ridgefield. He had fillings done before at Smiles Dental (and I have had a couple of crowns and root canals done there too) and they were much more relaxed and careful with their work. Meleea Miller, if you qualify, Care Credit helped me with my root canal expenses when I needed it smile emoticon

have an appointment at OHSU dental program on Friday. Fingers crossed that it will be much less than expected and that they can get it fixed soon. Its infected and getting sore.

Infected teeth SUCK! I ended up in the ER because I was scared to go to the dentist (makes sense, right). I got cellulitis in my face so they put me on an IV antibiotic. Now I go to the dentist like a good girl! I've heard a lot of people have relief from using clove oil. You can get it at Fred Meyers by the soap, toothpaste, etc, in the health food. It says not for oral consumption, but it's okay. smile emoticon It should help until you can get it fixed.

Gentle dental is HORRIBLE! I left went to daybreak dental haven't had any complaints yet.

I will never go to Dr. Conzati at gental dental he did a root canal in his office without the appropriate microscope and missed two roots causing severe infection. I went back and complained more than three times and he told me to rub my gums...Six m onths or so later my jaw locked from infection and they wanted to charge me $1800 more to re root. Sent me to Portland to their only endodontist who forced my jaw open and dislocated a disk in my jaw. Have had pain ever since...trigeminal nerve damage and all. For root canals see Dr. George in a Salmon Creek. I'm still trying to find a dentist who will do nice crowns and fit the bite right...

Avoid Excel Dental at all costs!

I looked at my online insurance benefits from when I had work done. I had a root canal a year ago at Columbia Endodontics. They billed $1150, but the insurance only allowed $876. The insurance paid their part, I paid mine, and they wrote off the res t. My husband just got a crown at Rose Family. They billed something like $1246, but the insurance only allowed $841. They wrote off the difference. My root canal was on a back tooth. I don't know which tooth my husband had the crown on. But just letting you know this, because maybe you would be able to deal with someone to get the same as insurance allowable amounts if you pay cash.

My dentist is awesome and believe they can do both in house, but I don't know what cost would be - Dentus Dental center 254-9700

Excel Dental in Battle Ground signed me up for Care Credit for my wisdom teeth. Not sure how much they'll credit, but they did a pretty good job.

We had to do same. Geriatric Dental group in Vancouver took care of all extractions charging abouts 110 +/- per simple extraction. We didn't have insurance. They took good care of us and heart surgery went well week following extractions.

Amy Pugh is hands down the best dentist. Her office is on mill plain, but worth the drive.

I would highly recommend Dr. Amy Pugh, who has an office just off 205 on Mill Plain. The most understanding, caring dentist I've ever seen. I've been able to have many procedures done without a lot of drugs because Dr. Pugh is so good.

But, if you work for any branch of Washington State, she is not a preferred provider. My husband goes there. I switched to Battle Ground Dental and am very please with services provided. He does whatever it takes to make you comfortable during procedures. I'm not needle friendly and he made sure I didn't feel a thing. My two new replacement fillings don't even hurt. I highly recommend them. Support your local business.

I like Dr Jasmine at Excel Dental and they have a specialist that comes in to do implants etc that is great too.

I recently left gentle dental( horrible place)and found an amazing dentist who actually takes the time to get to know you and he’s been so awesome I took my son out of the pediatric dentist to see him also. He has a small office behind goodwill in Battle Ground it’s called Above and Beyond and doctor Kevin Low and his entire team are awesome.

Go to Hazel Dell Modern Dentistry 360-901-2949. I work there We are contracted with Delta Dental so that makes your pricing less expensive. Plus the general dentist often does root canals. If you can avoid going to a specialist that is best. I am positive you will like the pricing, plus we have payment options. The important thing is to get you healthy.:)

Comfort dental off of chaklov had awesome staff, friendly dentists, and reasonable prices when I had to get a root canal done a couple years ago. I didn't use them for the treatment (insurance covered me out of state, it was cheaper to fly out for 2 weeks) but I recommend them. I do NOT recomend Excel Dental in bg, though.

Thurston Oaks Dental is very good, reasonable price, and very friendly staff. Just off of SR500 by Van Plaza.

For a root canal only go to endodontist Dr. Scott George in salmon creek. He has all the right equipment to do an excellent job. As far as dentists I use above and beyond in BG

Battle Ground Dentistry, right next to Albertsons they are amazing they helped me so much when I had a tooth pulled else where....I sent my husband there and he always went to Above and Beyond dental he hated the rude staff there, but thought the dentist was ok......he now goes to BG Dentistry too.....they saved my life, I'd never been in so much mouth pain before.....my husband has to go every 3 months because he had throats cancer they take really good care of him and do special prices cause insurance doesn't cover every three months......I love this place you will to if you decide to go there....

Not sure about Gentle Dental, but my kids have been seeing Dr. Hsu for 8 years and we're happy with him and his team.

I heard great things about A Children's Dentist, and I took my daughter there. The first appointment went ok. But the second appointment left me fuming! She is 4, and she was a little bit scared, but the hygienist obviously had no clue how to distract her or calm her down. Then when the dentist came, he literally FORCED her to lie back, and as she was screaming (because of being totally freaked out at that point), he shoved his little mirror in her mouth and held her down with his other arm while he looked at her teeth. I decided right then that I would NEVER go back there. There is no excuse for that. I now take her to Dr. Frank Foreman in Brush Prairie (11700 NE 95th St). It's only a few minutes down the road, and so worth it. And they do accept state insurance.
