What is the fastest internet service? Has anyone successfully eliminated cable?

I have a Roku box, Netflix and Hulu. Plus the big antenna on the roof. There are Cut the Cable groups on here that are very helpful in sorting out all the options.
Chris G. replied:
Yes, if you are looking for a way to still get some major channels you can use https://www.sling.com/. I personally use Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu with my smart TV, but you can also get a Roku or if you have a smartphone get a ChomeCast. They currently have a $6 Google Play promotion going on.

I have had ATT Uverse now for 4 years, only had to call for service twice and both times customer service was great, coming out the same day and one was even a Sunday. It is a little pricey but still would not consider changing.

We had the 50 mpbs installed with Wow. The signal doesn't even really reach my son's room, which they have tried to fix unsuccessfully, and when the signal has just completely dropped so many times this weekend I can't get anything done (trying to work from home). It's a bit frustrating and not what I'm used to having had ATT service prior. I guess we might be going back. I'm trying to give Wow a fair chance...it's been a week only, but so far not working so well for us.

Please move this to the BVBC site, as per the rules laid forth by mayor elect/admin John Paytosh. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and best of luck on your search.
Trying to decide on ATT vs Wow for internet service? Any recommendations greatly appreciated. Open to suggestions...

You can change the ending or beginning time on WOW to be a few minutes later or earlier if you find it's being cut off. Some TV shows just go over their scheduled time. I have to do that on the Americans. I like WOW because you can DVR 6 shows at the same time. I have WOW Ultra on two TVs plus internet. Costs around $167 a month. I considered switching but find it almost impossible to do any kind of side-by-side comparison and figured even if I got a good intro rate, eventually it would probably cost the same or more. Easier to do nothing.
