Looking to buy fresh eggs? Does anyone have any recommendations for someone local? Thank you.

If you go to the https://www.facebook.com/48911192646 West Side Market - go to Irene Dever's dairy stand. Ask them for farm fresh eggs. They're behind the counter and you have to know to ask. They get them delivered (sometimes warm!) every day. The deal is they would greatly appreciate if you bring egg containers. The farmers box them right there. You don't have to of course, it's just helpful to the farmers. The eggs are sourced from Amish and farms in Canton. There's one urban farm that supplies her. The owner is Dianne, she's Irene's daughter.

Try Ashley Zinicola Joslin's carrot cake from Top Tier Cakes in Westlake. A lot of times she has her carrot cake cupcakes in the pastry case that you can buy on the fly and sample! I highly recommend her work:-)

Both my (future) wife and I worked at the coffee shop next to Avellone's in the shopping center in the late 50 s. It belonged to Howard Deel and then to George Bates. It was popular with construction guys and school bus drivers for breakfast. It stayed open all day and in the summer would catch evening ice cream business from the ball fields across the street.
Need suggestions for a nice restaurant near Playhouse Square before a show. Taking people from out of town and want to enjoy an evening out in our great city.
Suann W. replied:
Crowell and Hubbard is within walking distance
Jo-Ann T. replied:
If you like sushi, Sungs House is very good!
Mary K. replied:
Went to Cowell and Hubbard on Wednesday. Have been there many times. Had terrible meals and service. I will never go again. Hodges on Euclid before 4 th Street is very good.
Jo-Ann T. replied:
Sungs House is right next door to playhouse and it's not all sushi
Need a restaurant near Playhouse Square good for BV kids ...
Leslie K. replied:
Hodges: Euclid & 9 th. So good. Easy. Valet Parking.
Dave A. replied:
Corner Alley
Tracy W. replied:
I work right there so this is my take.....Walking distance in Playhouse Square with kids....Hoffbrahaus or Green Rooster (for lunch) are probably your best bet. If your kids like Asian food, Sungs is good. If you don't need any frills, just grab something at Otto Mosers. It's not fancy but you can grab a good grilled cheese or chicken fingers. If you are ok to go just outside of the square area then I'd walk toward CSU where you can get Jimmy Johns or something like that. If you go west from the square area you are talking about things at east 9 th which include Winking Lizard, Paninis, and the new Heinens.
