I need some education here. I'm unfamiliar with the designation "Professional Gardener". Little help, pls?
Nigel S. replied:
"Professional Gardener" to me is someone that knows what there on about when it comes to plant names and what plants go well with others and know how to do a job without affecting the surroundings I:E if they where removing a dead tree you wouldn't want them to be walking all over your flower beds in order to remove it so I guess its just knowing what there doing and giving you the best advise.

I know many ladies who enjoy gardening but none of them wears any special "gardening clothes". I think here in UK most people wear their oldest scruffiest clothes when out in the garden getting grubby (unless they're called Margot Leadbetter).
