Also, BABC in Pasadena services this area: http://www.facebook.com/BayAreaBirthCenter They're a practice of 4 midwives who do birth center and homebirth for local women as well. They've been servicing this area for YEARS and can probably provide you with lots of great local references. I (Amy) am an apprentice there and they're amazing women!

I don't know much about her practice as I've never met her personally, but I've heard some good reports from a few women I know who've worked with her and she's got FABULOUS backup OBs.:)

The midwives at the Bay Area Birth Center in Pasadena service the Beaumont area for birth center and homebirth and do prenatal visits in Beaumont so that you don't have to drive out to Pasadena as often during your pregnancy.
