Deb S. replied:
Dr Shannon Trotter. Just started part time in Springfield. She comes from the James. She's wonderful! 937-523-9890. Her office is in Mercy Crest Bldg.
Tracey J. replied:
I use Dr Verma. She has offices near the Greene and in Englewood. Same practice as your friend lists above. I like her because she too is a mom and she "gets it" She has also treated Kaylin in the past.
Mindy D. replied:
Annette Wilson works for one.
Karey D. replied:
Dr. Bali.. She's wonderful . Near crystal clear imaging & Emmanuel school.

Tammie S. replied:
Dr. Brumfield has been great with my hubby.
Amy S. replied:
I see Dr. Palacio at Southwest Dermatology of Ohio in Troy - but any doctor in that practice is good. They have about 8 docs.
Recommendations?
Hello, would you post asking for recommendations on a good (but reasonable) dermatologist in the Beavercreek/Kettering area for a 17 year old boy?...
Kristy B. replied:
Dr Gary Palmer in Centerville. Right across from Cross Point
Grace Z. replied:
Dr. Balis is on Dayton Xenia.
Jodi C. replied:
Balacz has very low ratings so I see Dr. Bakos. He's great.
Rachel P. replied:
Dr Balazs left a horrible scar on my daughters arm after having a mole removed. I would not recommend her! Not only that but I really wasn't impressed with her office.
Laurie H. replied:
We took my son to Dr. Kellawan in Centerville. Really like him and the practice. Knew just what to do for my son....and it wasn't an expensive regimen. We know a lot of doctors, and this was the recommendation. Not in Beavercreek, but worth the bit of a drive.
Andrea S. replied:
I don't care for Dr. Balazs. However, both of the nurse practitioners in her office are great. My 14 year old saw Tara for months and she is excellent. Very nice and I would highly recommend her.
Nancy K. replied:
Be prepared for a long wait until you can get an appt. i just called for a return appt for Dr. Bakos and earliest was mid January.
Angie H. replied:
Not a fan of Dr. Balazs. Long wait. Hurried visits. Get the feeling she's trying to see as many patients as possible. Dr. Bakos is MUCH better imo.
Stephanie S. replied:
I've been to Dr Kellawan and couldn't stand the office the two times I was there. The first, I went for my mole check and was hurried through skin questions, like he didn't want to answer them. The second was when I went back to get one of the moles ...See More
Grace Z. replied:
Just don't go to the dermatologist by the Greene. My friend went to him and he gave her s treatment to help her issue. Turns out he gave her a cream that should never be given to a person with the skin condition she had. After she applied to cream from his direction, she broke in blood blisters on her face. Dr. Balazs let her get in quickly to fix the issue.
Lorna C. replied:
I really like Dr Bakos at the corner of Indian ripple and 675
Jenn T. replied:
I also recommend Dr. LePage at Dermatologists of Southwest Ohio. I see him at their office on Rt 48 and Rahn Rd.
Peg A. replied:
Dr Balacz is great. Her office isn't in a brand new shiny building, but it's clean, roomy and pleasant. She always has time to listen. My bills with her aren't as high as some others I have tried. Scars often are more about a person's skin. My child needs a plastic surgeon now and then....she scars pretty bad. With everything.
Susan D. replied:
Barbara Cortez of Beavercreek Dermatology is wonderful. My son (9) liked her too. She does have a male partner in this office but I haven't met him.
Bonnie M. replied:
My family goes to Dr. Balazs. Really like her!
Margie B. replied:
Patricia Dickerson or Barbara Cortez
Kathy P. replied:
Dr Bakos on Indian ripple rd. is awesome
Sandy M. replied:
I used to see Sherry Grooms who was in the practice with Dr Balazs. I never cared for Dr Balazs because she always seemed in a big hurry and was not personable at all. When Sherry left the practice and started her own business in Enon, I followed her. She is so thorough and friendly, always making me feel like I'm her only patient. Although she's in Enon, it's worth the drive. Leo Dermatology. 863-0083
Barb H. replied:
The PA's at Dr. Balazs are good, I like Sherry too. Dr. Balazs is an excellent doctor just very busy so sometimes it is easier to see the PA.
Sunshine T. replied:
I see Dr. Balaz. I've not had the problem of feeling rushed, but that may be because I have high deductible insurance so when it costs me $200 to visit a doctor I make them spend the time with me that I require.
Shannon P. replied:
Dr. Cortez, Advanced Dermatology in Bcreek and Centerville! She is awesome!
Kristie M. replied:
Barbara Cortez
Allison F. replied:
Dr Kellawan
Candice C. replied:
Dr Balazs does rush and not very personable
Angie H. replied:
Dr. Bakos is by far our family favorite. He's at the beavercreek location on Tuesdays
Sorry. I do not like driving in Columbus in morning...I freak out. I'm going to try Laser Skin Care, James Cromwell. He does facial areas. I had him as a OB/GYN and he was excellent. This is another "feature" he has added. I'm going to talk to him anyway.
Am in need of a dermatologist. Can anyone recommend someone?
Julie H. replied:
Kathryn Balazs on Dayton-Xenia rd. Some think she's a little stern but I really like her. Cody sees her as well.
Michele J. replied:
