I don't know you or your situation at all. I'm probably projecting what I've seen my friends go through, and what I've gone through in my own life. But, I have to write this:
I'm tired of seeing people destroy themselves because they think there is something wrong them when they need their relationships structured differently than what everyone else is doing. Having a pristine, monogamous, relationship with one person for the rest of your life is not what everybody is wired for. It does not mean you have the dreaded "commitment issues" disease.
You don't have to subscribe to the same ideas as everyone else about your relationships; you just have to be honest with yourself and everyone else.
This is not an argument for not getting counseling; just something I wanted to share. And, maybe I'm entirely wrong about what you are going through.
Let the downvotes wash over me.
