There is widespread hated of Charles Hurst on this sub. Now I did buy only one car from them in 2008 and it was fine, perhaps I got lucky. Other people may be here with horror stories. What age of car are you thinking of? You'll see SERE selling a lot of 1 or 2 year old cars with english plates, they are mostly ex-rental. The positive things is that they will have been well serviced and inspeced, downside is they may have be driven by someone like me.

I would strongly recommend looking at Skoda. Same platform as Audi or vw but cheaper. Check out Mulholland they have some seriously good deals on nearly new cars eg http://mobile.johnmulhollandmotors.com/offers/skoda/view/483

Mate in all honesty you'd be better off going over to England there's a much bigger selection and at better prices. The brother went over recently got a gorgeous car and even with VRT it's thousands cheaper then comparable models on Donedeal.

Try mcwilliamscarsales.co.uk ... kd cars used to clock the mileage on their cars...but that was a long time ago. It may be better now . Just stay clear of Shelbourne motors rip off deals r us. Also ballylisk car sales are excellent folk but mainly deal with fords

Have a look at Wilsons Auctions, you can pick up some complete bargins, they have car auctions in Portadown and Mullusk(North Belfast)

I don't think Charles Hurst is any worse than any other dealer. My dad got a Kia from them and he is happy enough. You just need to know how to handle them.

I've never used these people but there's Jack Reid cars between Carrickfergus and Whitehead and they always have a fuckton of Audis if that's what you're after.

Don't buy a car in Belfast; buy in a small town, where they haven't spent years crawling along at 20 mph. Plenty of dealerships around Newry/Banbridge/Armagh/Portadown.

Why do people down South call all humans "lads"? What about women? Irritating.
Can anyone recommend any cheap car dealers around Co down area? Only looking to spend around £700

You'd struggle to find something from a car dealer for £700. Probably best going with a private seller. autotrader or usedcarsni are the go to places. For £700 its probably going to have so many miles on the clock you'll not get much out of it though.
