Anyone know any good dentists that will be good at treating someone who is terrified of the dentist. Need a tooth out and I hate going to the dentist lol
Thanks x
Dentists in the city center Just moved here last week from Donegal and have a tooth ache! Can anyone recommend a good dental practice and has anyone had any experience...

I think you need a Health and Care number (Northern Irish version of NHS Numbers) to join a dentist. I needed to quote mine when I switched recently. However, if you go to the School of Dentistry at The Royal Victoria Hospital they will treat you for free. ( I recently got a tooth extracted there for free). Hope this helps

Most dentists will see anyone immediately privately - probably will cost as much as a dentist in Donegal. It's been a while since I was private, but I think fillings were about 75 for amalgam ones then (as a benchmark) Not all dentists will take on NHS clients and you'll need an NHS number first.

I can't speak about moving from Ireland, but there are some dentists that do not need an NHS number to treat you. I think the closest one to the town centre is Dublin Road Dental Practice https://maps.app.goo.gl/nENvTucqL6 tmzVFVA I have gone to them before and they are lovely (and relatively gentle). Good luck with the toothache!

Jeremy Doogan is the most amazing dentist! He’s so patient and kind, fair with his pricing, and genuinely interested and lovely to all of his patients. I can’t recommend him enough. I fly back home just to see him as my dentist because I’ve had a few bad dentist experiences. http://doogandental.com

Carolyn Perkins is the only qualified equine dentist in northern Ireland she is also a vet. If you look up equine dental clinic in Hillsborough you will find all her contract details. I personally wldnt let anyone who wasn't qualified or regulated work on my horses.
