I don't like Dollar General (the one in Bella Vista) - it's trashy! The one on Central in Bentonville is so much nicer.

You don't have a grocery store by the Highland Gate because there isn't enough population density, A grocery store needs drive by traffic. Here are the traffic counts for Benton County. The Highland gate gets about 5800 cars a day. Allens is behind the Sonic. Harp's is at Town Center. At Jane is Walmart. Aldi's is in Rogers. And Sam's Club is on I49, hwy 102 exit.

I haven't been there since Thanksgiving time, but I would check out The Fresh Market at the Promenade Mall in Springdale. They have so many wonderful specialty items that I'm sure they make up gift baskets. I may even go there myself today to pick up some interesting foods for Christmas.
