Can anyone recommend a great primary care physician for me? Preferably in the canton area :)
Joe H. replied:
Oakwood Family Practice in Canton (Warren and Canton Center Rd.) Dr. Ragunaathan. Everyone calls her "Dr. R." My kids went to her from birth to 10 years old.

Jessica Oliver - In re-reading your initial statement, I see now you that you did indeed say for you. Don't i feel like an idiot?! LOL. There should be plenty of good doctors on the first floor over in the same building. I think I used to see Dr. Walker. Not sure if he's still there.
Livonia mommas (and anyone nearby)! I would like to find a new pediatrician. Who do you take your children to? What do you like or dislike about the doctor/practice?...
Parsla L. replied:
I'm in Farmington. We see Dr. Molnar, part of the Haller and Hugg, PC group. All the doctors are dual-certified (if that's the right term) in both adult internal medicine and pediatrics. They have a little bit of a holistic slant, and Dr. Molnar is a huge breastfeeding proponent (she runs a monthly support group).

We go to Uof M health systems on 7 and haggerty. I never feel rushed or like they don't take my concerns seriously, and they don't hassle me about not doing the flu shot.
Grace K. replied:
Our 3 month old sees Dr. Pop at Henry Ford Livonia and honestly, one of the things I like most is the support staff. I have had to come in several times to have paperwork filled out or pick up a form and they always bend over backwards for me. They have scheduled us in during times that were supposed to be completely blocked out when our newborn was sick. Our 9 month old has different insurance, so he goes somewhere else, but when I come I have both babies, and the secretaries kidnap him. They hold him the entire time I'm in the appointment for the little baby and let him type on the computer.:P
Liz T. replied:
I did not like Dr Grimm in Cherry hill village - I'm glad no one has named him yet. We left his practice when H was 4 months old.
Lisa F. replied:
I would stay away from Dr. Todds Pediatrics. We went to a PA there who tried to convince me that my son needed to see an urologist asap because he couldn't retract (He's intact and infants are not supposed to retract) to have him "just get the tip snipped". I was horrified but luckily did research as soon as I got home to realize that it was 100% normal. U of M Northville Dr. Bender is the way to go! We've seen all the drs there and haven't been disappointed. They are also on time!:)
If it's not one thing it's another. Not only do I need to get a new doctor pronto (any suggestions would be nice) but now I have to pay $160 to get my TIRES fixeD AGAIN...
