Hi, can anyone suggest some good restaurants in Belper to go with friends? All reasonably new here. Tried the Elaichi, hanging gate and the Bulls head. Ideas needed!

Neil Chef McCready does some great meals at the black swan on the market place. Also cafe nonnos on green lane does some great Italian food. Angelos in milford is good too. Also nourish is good in king street but a little pricier . Also went to the lion recently was great food and reasonably priced

Does anyone know any good places to eat out around Derby and Derbyshire? Thanks :D
Catherine M. replied:
Sorry not sure of any out that way apart from Chatsworth Farm Shop which was good (have seen on here restaurants at the house cater too). Hardwick Inn is near junction 29 on M1 and lots of gf options, including carvery. Fresh Basil in Belper do lovely cakes. Have seen on GF chip shop page Chesters in Chesterfield is good but not tried yet. I am from Alfreton area so sorry I don't know Peak very well. Hope you find somewhere
