Check out [Jeff Hall](https://www.jeffhallphotos.com/), his post-processing is very minimal and he loves shooting out in nature. I love his work (using him for my wedding), but just a warning: he is not a good communicator.

We went with Kim Battion Green for my daughter's wedding in Oakland. The pictures at Joaquin Miller Park were stunning and I would argue one of the best I've seen in terms of capturing the redwoods and the couple. https://scontent-lax3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t31.0-8/fr/cp0/e15/q65/20545528_1779891948691672_2663253227683668564_o.jpg?_nc_cat=0&oh=7 a96 a783 d7 a39606 acac4 c7 eb91951 fa&oe=5B5BB006

[Gary Sexton](http://www.garysextonphotography.com/) is great, grew up with him. He is a Peninsula Local and always does a great job (he has done several of my friend's weddings in the area).

Urbaners Photography is awesome! They're cheaper than any other decent photographer I found in the Bay Area. They don't do prints, just digital files, so you'll save a little there. They do videography as well. Absolutely fantastic to work with. Here's their website with lots of pics! http://urbaners.com

Pro photographer friends: do you insure your camera & glass?
If so, any recommendations on plans?
Micah D. replied:
While we're talking gear, check out Capture. It holds your camera securely with a clip system instead of having it swing around your neck. https://peakdesignltd.com/store/capture
Steve G. replied:
Micah Daigle I insured about $1500 worth of camera gear with a small rider added onto my renters insurance policy. Increased my renter's policy by like $10-$15 for the year. "Musical instruments, photography equipment and even golf clubs count in the list of valuable items that might need riders. Having a rider on, say, a ring also broadens coverage for that item, says Griffin. If you forget your ring on the bathroom sink at a restaurant after washing your hands and it's gone when you go back, the rider will cover the loss, for example. "That's not normally covered by a renters policy," he says." http://www.bankrate.com/finance/insurance/how-much-renters-insurance.aspx
