Check out the sports programs of the universities, they offer really affordable weekly yoga courses for students.

Check out urbansportsclub.com to see if they offer a plan for yoga that meets your price point. Then you can try out a ton of places near your commute/home and find the one you like most. Edit: make sure to cancel the membership 2 months before you leave Berlin, I think 2 months notice is what they require.

For more active vinyasa style classses there are tons of options, Yellow Yoga in Kreuzberg/NK, Jenine Kerr, Julie Blumenthal in Graefekiez. There's also an English-speaking Iyengar teacher, Elizabeth Smullens Brass, in Mitte. There is Forrest Yoga with Sita Menon in Zehlendorf. There's a new studio in Kreuzberg again, Frei Stil Yoga, which sounds good. And there's much more! That's just what comes to mind as I sit on the S-bahn.

Anyone know of any Baptiste yoga studios by chance?
Lauren B. replied:
Rebecca Toler Pray I'm from Boston and really miss the Baptiste studios there! Haven't found anything totally similar.... Power yoga doesn't seem to be so popular here. I started doing Bikram here and love it... I go to Sun Yoga, there's one in Friedrichshain and one in Kreuzberg. I also like Spirit Yoga in Mitte for Vinyasa classes. The owner, Patricia Thielemann, trained extensively in the USA.
