Does anyone know a good computer tech? Mine is acting up and it's for work and I need someone asap. Any recommendations would be great! Thanks!

Veronica, sometimes you have to run your antivirus again. Mine was acting up and I fixed it...do you have Norton or Macafee? There is a place call Catcom Computers in Montclair off of Valley Road...they are very very good.

Could anyone recommend a computer repair for a virus locally? My laptop picked up the ICE cyber crime virus. Thank you
Brianne C. replied:
I wouldn't recommend Pete the Geek (who used to be in North Center by Momoya, but relocated elsewhere). He did my boyfriend's computer- we gave him brand new legit Windows OS software to install on his rebuilt computer, and now it says it's a pirated copy. Pretty sure we got bait and switched. Not long after that, his Broad St. location closed up…

Try this: https://www.malwarebytes.org/ You may have to buy a few programs, but cheaper than getting a tech to do it. And when you buy there is free user support.
