Recently switched to Dr. Maria Turizo (Broad St next to Friendlys across from Brookdale school). I use E & M Dental in Clifton for my kids. I'm happy with both. We have also used Brookdale Dental (next to Brookdale school) very happy.

Tenafly Pediatrics- they have an office up Broad St. In Clifton. Dr. Jawetz is great!

I go to Dr Holtz on Broughton for my eyes as well & like him. I also go to Dr Kaplan on Belleville Ave (Bloomfield) as my dentist & have been going to him for over 15 yrs - I hope I don't ever have to change dentist either:) Good luck

Dr. Maria Yerovi in Bloomfield. She is fantastic. I'm originally from NY and it took me a while to find her and i had to wait to have my newborn to get into her practice. WELL WORTH THE WAIT. I tried several other pediatricians and i was not pleased. I made several trips back to NY because i could not find a good doc. I still have not found a decent GP it's been 3 years.

I also recommend Dr. Maria Yerovi for peds. She is very laid back and not an alarmist when it comes to newborns and toddlers. If you can't get into her, Tenefly Pediatrics in Clifton are very good too.

If you are looking for a group, I use Pediatric professionals of West Orange on Pleasant Valley Way. Whoever you pick, make sure they have admitting privledges to St Barnabus (they have the pediatric ER). The dentist is across the street from the pediatrician, also on Pleasant Valley Way -- Dr Eytel. Best pediatric dentist EVER! Love him. For a pediatric eye dr, Dr Lambert in Livingston close to St Barnabus (she just does pediatric). They have a great pediatric optical shop right there for glasses, and the people who work there know how to properly fit children for glasses!

I go to the Essex Eye Institute, 5 Franklin Ave in Belleville or 799 Bloomfield Ave in Verona. I go to their retina specialist, Dr. Joel Eichler, but they are all good. 973-751-6060

We go to Dr. Eichler as well. In Belleville. His nurse is actually a bloomfield mom. Great office.

Dr Kathryn Childs I know you said Bloomfield but she is off Clairmont on Fullerton not far and she is terrific

I've been to Dr. Eichler's office too and the wait was very long.

Dr Childs is very nice; however, she's an ophthalmologist not an optometrist. She can do refraction and check glasses, etc, as well. If you prefer an optometrist, I'd recommend Ted Friedman on Park in Montclair.

Is Dr Eichler in the Essex eye Institute? Do they have late hours.

Iris, yes and yes. However, he is a retina specialist. Their regular opthomologist is Dr. Shah who is very thorough.

I take my son to Eye Care Center on Broughton and they are very thorough. We waited a bit but worth it.

Eye care center. Dr Thomas Conroy is the best in Essex county.
